LOCAL FAVORITES
local plant life we love

douglas fir
evergreen
One of the most revered trees in North American History, this forest giant is a character staple to its environment and will leave a legacy far after it's planted. Talk about planting for future generations, this plant often reaches hundreds, sometimes even a thousand years old.
rhododendron
flowering shrub
A versatile candidate, rhododendrons provide beautiful blooms in wild and suburban environments alike. Although they don't enjoy harsh sun, they can provide a great pop of color in a more shady environment and play extremely well with oaks and pines as companions.

red columbine
perennial
A friend to many animals and pollinators, this small flower provides character to any garden with its small red blooms.
shore sedge
grass
A great species for wet areas, this sedge enjoys getting its feet wet near a body of water, creek, or even small splash pool.
